What is This About? + My Own Cats!
Hi guys! I'm the owner and (right now!) the only poster on this blog!
I am cat-obsessed. Ever since I was taken home from the hospital after I was born and found a little moggy cat sitting there, cats have been a part of my life.
I am older now, and that moggy has since passed. But, after a year-long mourning hiatus, my family and I looked for a new kitten. This time we didn't get just one, but two! One for me, one for my brother. We adopted them from the SPCA in December, 2018.
These are my cats, I'll give you a rundown on their personalities!
This is my cat, Louise! (aka Lulu). She's a mackerel tabby.
She was born on the 19th of October, 2018.
This may sound weird but she has a personality that directly mirrors her zodiac sign; Libra. She is extremely extroverted; she loves to cuddle with everyone and whenever new people come round she can't wait to sit on them! She's friendly and sociable; she doesn't really leave the perimeter of the garden as she wants as many pats as she can get, when she sees you she'll go brrrrpp! and wave her tail as if saying hi. She will never miss an opportunity to brush against you or sit down in front of you when you're trying to walk somewhere. She is definitely like a stereotypical dog!
This is my brother's cat, Clawdia! (aka Clawclaws). She's a tuxedo cat.
She was born on the 24th of October, 2018.
She also shares a lot of traits with her western zodiac sign, Scorpio. She's mysterious; she leaves the garden quite often and we lose sight of her for a while, but throughout the day we'll see snippets of her sniffing around cars and annoying dogs. She is an introvert; whenever people who are not my family come over she slinks away and will run away if a stranger tries to pat her. But she is also bold; she likes to explore and climb, a good example of this is when both of the cats are on the roof, when they want to get down Louise, being scared of jumping off things because, well, she's overweight, would rather be let in through the window by a human, but Clawdia jumps straight off the roof, only caring if there's grass underneath her to break her fall a bit. She is the stereotypical cat!
I made this blog for me to document everything to do with cats! Whether it be news stories, what my own cats have been up to, or even cute cats I find on the streets! I want people to realise that cats are friendly, loyal animals just like dogs, and are a good pet if you want a dog but can't have on. I also just want to share cute pictures and such of cats to help people have a better day and learn more about these amazing animals!
Hopefully you'll come along with me, see you soon!
